Easter flowers

Happy Easter everyone! I hope it's been a relaxing break for you all. We're currently residing in London for a few days cat sitting for my brother. We haven't been making the most of London by adventuring too much, instead relaxing and living like locals you could say.

I thought I would try and brighten up what has been quite a gloomy time of it weather wise with some flowers I received recently from the lovely Jay. After doing a photo shoot Jay brought round a bucket of flowers that weren't used and I attempted a bit of flower arranging.

I'm so desperate to get out of our tiny house and flex my wings a bit that playing with flowers took my mind off things and I quite enjoyed the afternoon but definitely won't be quitting my day job. I'm looking forward to hopefully growing some flowers but don't think I will have as many flowers in one go this time to play with.

  3. SO pretty! I'm so shamefully useless with flowers- never have a clue what to do with them, other them stick them straight into a vase! x

  5. I love flower arrangements like yours that don't really look arranged or too structured like a lot of florists tend to do. Isn't just the best fun bringing all the outside beauty inside?!

  8. Lovely flowers - what a lush dark colour. I trained as a florist but to be honest tend to just plonk them in a vase - I think your arrangement is great. Enjoy your cat sitting. sam x
